Scope of chargedㆍfree repair

  • ① Free repair
    • - Services for mechanical (hardware) failure from normal use within quality warranty period (1 year) is limited for the genuine model sold by this company, and hard disks (H.D.D) and consumables (mouse) are excluded.
  • ② Charged repair
    • - For failures after quality warranty period (1 year)
    • - Products without serial (product that was not passed through normal distribution channel)
    • - When the failure was caused by repair done by other repair man not in the service center designated by this company, or the modulation of the product structure, performance, and function.
    • - When the failure was caused by abnormal service power (or incorrect power connection)
    • - When the failure was caused by user’s intentional or unintentional mistake and negligence (inappropriate installation environment)
    • - When the failure was caused by a fault if accessing devices (camera, P/T adopter, etc.)
    • - Network installation (router installation, DDNS setting)
    • - Failures caused by natural disaster (lightening, flood)
    • - When the failure was caused by the user’s poor operation (firmware upgrade, etc.)

Subject of chargedㆍfree repair

  • ① Free repair
    • Genuine model sold by this company (normal product with serial)
  • ② Genuine model sold by this company (normal product with serial)
    • - Products other than genuine model sold by this company (hard disk, CD-RW, consumables) or modulated product from a genuine model
    • - If a product doesn't have attached serial, the process will be charged even the quality warranty period is not expired.

Warranty period

Warranty period : 1 year quality warranty period under consumer injury compensation rule

  • - Warranty period is counted from the date of purchase for the product, and the date of purchase refers the date stated on the product warranty given when you bought the product.
  • - If no date of purchase is written on the product warranty or the date of purchase can not be confirmed due to missing or lost the warranty, the quality warranty period is counted by documents that is presented by the customer and can prove the purchase of the product.
  • - If there is no documentary evidence, the date is counted from 3 months after the date of manufacture marked on the product.
  • - Warranty period is not applicable for secondhand goods (buy from an electric shop, imitation), and the company will be no liability to compensate for the damage from the cases not repairable.

Compulsory repair period

  • - The compulsory repair period of the product follows material retention period for the product, and the company will be no liability to repair for the product whose compulsory repair period is expired.
  • - Material retention period for the product is 3 years from the manufacturing date of the product according to Consumer Protection Law.
  • - For products other than above, comply standards for similar products.

Service charge

Service charge is sum of material cost, repair cost (technical cost), and travel cost, and its calculation criteria are as follows.

  • ① Material cost
    • - Material cost is defined by material price table specified separately by this company, and includes additional tax.
  • ② Repair cost (technical cost)
    • - Repair cost is a service fee for charged repair according to required technical skills, and determined by taking difficulties and time associated to the repair into account.

    • - When applying 1 spot only is unfavorable to charge repair cost, the repairer can charge the repair cost for each spot.

Charge for re-defect

Repairing identical symptom again in the identical spot of the same product within 3 month will not be charged.
But, accessories installed by the consumer’s request is not included (negotiable after discussion between the company and the consumer)

Warranty period

Decision and revision of service charges shall be done by this company and the head office, if necessary.

  • - Material cost is note included in above service charges.
  • - Travel cost will be waved when the customer visit the service center for repair.
  • - Travel cost is based on within 10km distance, longer than this distance can be charged more.
  • - When two or more spots are repaired in one product, only the biggest one will be counted in calculating the service charge, but the repairer can charge the repair cost for each spot if he considers that applying one spot only is unreasonable.
  • - For item not mentioned above, separate service charge will be applied.
  • - Travel cost, technical cost, and inspection cost in above tariff are calculated separately and the total will be charged to the consumer.

Warranty period

Followings are subject to the customers whose “free quality warranty period” is not expired, and classified either free service or charged service according to the symptom and action to be taken.

- Confliction with other company’s product owned by the customer
- Usage explanation requested by customer (trip to the site)

- Data backup
- External environment issues such as internet and cable signal
- For reinstallation sue to poor installation by sales agency (customer)
- For expired consumables (battery, adopter, remote controller, etc.)
